Acknowledgement of Country

RMIT University acknowledges the people of the Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung language groups of the eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we conduct the business of the University.

RMIT University respectfully acknowledges their Ancestors and Elders, past and present. RMIT also acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia where we conduct our business.

MID Launched

Early in the morning in August 2017 MID took over Seven Seeds Coffee to launch a new partnership between the City of Melbourne, RMIT University and the University of Melbourne to develop urban innovations for Melbourne. Watch the video.

Welcomed by Wurundjeri elder Aunty Di Kerr, Lord Mayor Robert Doyle, University of Melbourne Vice-Chancellor Glyn Davis and RMIT University’s Vice-Chancellor Martin Bean took part in a panel conversation about partnering to innovate for the future of Melbourne.
