Aims of Social Innovation:
- Designing policy and workforce solutions in the social economy in various fields, including, health, housing, disability and justice in partnership with industry, civil society, government, users, and experts.

- Meeting social needs and solving pressing problems through new ideas, new partnerships and dynamic settings for experimental and collaborative practice.
- Where enterprise activation, startups and acceleration have been explored in depth the value and potential of social innovation are still emerging, though Victoria and Melbourne already hold important expertise and comparative advantage.
