RMIT Addresses the Skills Crisis with Innovative Education Models

Connect with the education sector including RMIT leaders, industry partners and government, and learn more about the current industry-immersed learning opportunities at RMIT, what this means for students and employers, and have a conversation about partnering with us on current or future co-designed Earn and Learn models.

Held at the iconic Capitol Theatre, this event will feature keynote speakers including RMIT Vice-Chancellor Professor Alec Cameron and a government representative, and a Q&A session with a panel of distinguished guests from government and industry.

The speakers and panellists will discuss the impact of current and future skills shortages on business and society, as well as the sector response to these challenges.

Alongside the panel and formalities, join us for a catered networking opportunity with RMIT, sector leaders, government and industry.

About Earn and Learn:

Earn and Learn is one of RMIT’s approaches to designing future-fit learning qualifications where students will be employed in a role with one of our industry partners, while simultaneously completing their studies with RMIT.

Co-designed with industry, Earn and Learn capitalises on our deep experience and rethinks current learning and teaching models to address looming skills shortages.

It creates opportunities for students to gain critical industry experience throughout their studies, and for employers to shape the skillsets of the future workforce.
