Acknowledgement of Country

The Melbourne Innovation Districts (MID) acknowledges the people of the Woi Wurrung and Boon Wurrung language groups of the eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we conduct the business of MID.

MID respectfully acknowledges their Ancestors and Elders, past and present. MID also acknowledges the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia where we conduct our business.

Shaping the future of our cities: focus on Melbourne

In November 2024, Urbis released the results of their biennial City Leaders Survey, offering valuable insights from over 200 senior executives. The survey highlights the critical challenges and opportunities that will shape the future of our cities.

CEDA is excited to collaborate with Urbis and delve into some of the findings of the Survey, to explore the policies and priorities necessary to support the sustainable growth and resilience of our cities. We will examine the State’s strategies for infrastructure, housing, and economic development, with key decision-makers joining the discussion.

This briefing is by invitation only to CEDA members. At CEDA boardroom briefings you will hear from an informed, expert guest speaker in a private, small group setting. Invitations to boardroom briefings are a valued benefit of CEDA membership. Chatham House Rule applies.
